About the track
I spent all of last week studying voles in the wild.
Steppe voles stay in pairs for life. Meadow voles don't. Same genes, different ground. So maybe love isn't something you're born with. Maybe it's what a place taught you.
I wrote a track about it. A meadow and a steppe — and the home they build anyway.
